This is an excellent look into poverty and development, looking in to poverty in the Philippine context. It is a research based look into the reasons for poverty and why much work on development has missed the mark. The Author also builds a case for sustainable development that has humanitarian, societal, and spiritual dimensions. Very clear and concise. I look forward to a future study on Nepal.
